I already do use Signal with friends that have it, and I plan to stop using whatsapp for chatting with the other ones, if the entire Ad thing happens. But there just are groups, that I cant imagine will make the switch, and sadly I need those :/
Like removing a bandaid. Hard and fast. (Just make sure the wound had healed first).
How do I know it healed?
When you're ready. I.e. moving pictures off of Facebook. Making new groups from Discord. Giving up certain apps is difficult, but you have to police who is being unethical with your data. Because nobody else will.
