I'm sorry but I have to say this out loud, I cannot think it any longer..
Americans in general are a bunch of fucking coward losers. They can't stop boasting about what heroes they are, they can't stop making movies about the typical American boy from the corner who saves the world who never gives up, who will never bend the knee...
Cue vinyl record scratch
Welcome to the real world! Here we see Americans handing over all their rights with smiles on their faces. Here we see one company after another bending the knees giving gifuckingnormous amounts of money to a fascist dictator king, firing people that the king doesn't like (Hey Colbert, go get em!), jumping on and harassing minorities because its easy...
Police forces are always shown to be these pensative well rounded guys who would always do the right thing... HAH! Real world police in the US is just a bunch of coked up racists with an attitude problem and murder fantasies.
Like, seriously, the movie US is so extremely far removed from the real world that the movie US is just a joke now. Americans aren't the heroes. They never were, but if by now anyone still actually believes that propagandistic movie bullshit about how the mighty US military will save the day, then I have a really nice bridge to sell you in my backyard. Just pay me and I'll show you.
No one has been stepping up to stop the rise of fascism in the US and trump has been speed running it, blitzkrieging it because he has met zero fucking resistance.
Fuck, Americans always love to bitch on the French for being cowards (for no reason whatsoever) but you know what the French do when they don't like the government? They fucking paralize the country if they have to. They will not fucking stop.
Americans? Well, there was that no kings protest, which was "meh" big in comparison to other protests that I've seen, and here and there there have been people singing, and dressing up and.... Did fucking nothing. Those no kings protests? One fucking day, and that's it. I'm sure Trump peed his pants a little, seeing those protests, and I'm also sure it was from laughing.
You have fascism rising like a rocket, people are being kidnapped in daylight by non uniformed armed guys, and you let it happen
Fucking. Cowards.
You always pretend to be the big hero that makes the ultimate sacrifice, you always boast about it ad-nauseum, THEN WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU, NOW THAT THE WORLD NEEDS YOU?
You can barely be bothered to protest
Americans are fucking cowards, sorry.
The No Kings protest was the 3rd largest American protest in history:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_protests_and_demonstrations_in_the_United_States_by_size
It was close to 12 million people (3.5% of the population) across 2100 cities. (12 million is a conservative average of 5000 people showing up in each city, with obvious larger crowds at most)
What the fuck are YOU doing to fight fascism exactly? Watching it on TV and being disappointed Americans aren't doing it better?
Why are you NOT in America fighting the fascism there yourself?
MAYBE you are just UNINFORMED on what Americans are doing, and staying that way so you can bitch on the internet we aren't stopping fascism fast enough for you to not be scared by it.
Fascism made sure we're too busy being jailed, becoming homeless, and dying from a lack of health insurance to fight it harder, but we still fight, certainly harder than your comfortable ass is.
Come fight fascism here yourself if you don't think we're doing it good enough for you. You're not a coward right?
Can't really argue.
I mean people have a lot to lose. People have families and jobs and property. I understand being scared to risk that speaking out against fascism.
But we've already lost rights. Our Constitution is being repeatedly violated. And once a set of rules is violated, it's real hard to get back to a place where those rules are respected and enforced again. History has shown us that what we're experiencing is the beginning of authoritarian control. If we don't stop it now, things are going to get a lot darker and a lot harder to get back to normal.
So yeah, despite understanding the implications of resisting, I have to agree, as an American, that we're a bunch of pussy ass cowards right now and if we don't change that soon, that's what we're going to become instead of just being what we're acting like right now.
I understand that protests are happening, but that's not enough to stop the march of fascism. They'll just ignore it until we make it so they can't.
Exactly. Americans are insanely cowardly nowadays.
