There's also the people who never had Medicaid. There has always been a deadly benefit cliff if you made $1 too much, it traps people bin poverty too. My wife has a fucking terrible government job now but at least it has decent medical. We were uninsured for about eight years. Fortunately we didn't need life saving care in that time.
