Rule 4- No self promotion or upvote-farming of any kind.
That's it.
Rule 5- No baiting or sealioning or promoting an agenda.
Posts and comments which, instead of being of an innocuous nature, are specifically intended (based on reports and in the opinion of our crack moderation team) to bait users into ideological wars on charged political topics will be removed and the authors warned - or banned - depending on severity.

Are there any legal risks for signing up to this?
Not really, at least as long as the constitution is worth the paper it's written on. But uh considering recent rulings, need to evaluate your own risk tolerance because who knows in future.
Yeah that’s about what I was thinking, thanks. I’m going to ponder it but as I’m relatively privileged it might be worth the risk for me to help my community.
Is it hosted outside of the US, in a jurisdiction which won’t honor a warrant to search servers?
From their site:
Is this service illegal?
No. Reporting, documenting, photographing, videotaping any law enforcement officer or law enforcement activity in plainly visible public spaces is protected under the First Amendment of the US Constitution. StopICE exists in the interest of free speech, transparency and public reporting. ACLU: You Have The Right to Record Law Enforcement Officers.
I saw that but I’m just curious to hear other thoughts if there are any.
It's not illegal, so I think ICE terrorists are getting what they want if people are afraid to exercise their constitutional rights.
Yeah I think you are right about that.
Here's another thought: no, it's not illegal and any enforcement against it would give you a wonderful excuse for a cut and dry lawsuit
They can just deport you before the court date if they feel like it
Woulfn' they be able to arrest people using it under the pretext of law inforcement obstruction?
Don't some states have pretty restrictive laws about that?
The whole reason for this app is that the administration is not abiding the law. So don't rest your hopes on what is legal.
From courts legitimately interpreting the law? Not at all.
But that's not a guarantee anymore, and the administration also doesn't care what the courts say. He also just got gigafunding for his Gestapo.
it's not illegal, but at this rate the laws don't matter. this is almost definitely a honeypot to track their opposition
