I remember seeing a ps Vita for the first time and being blown away that a PS3/pc game like binding of Isaac was available to play in my hands like that. I didn't realize until later that it didn't really take off.

Thank you for such a long writeup to my simple question. I would definitely love to selfhost my own little lemmy instance someday in the future. It never made sense to me that this place was automatically better when it's just technically someone else's servers.

So the way things already were?

Genuine question but how can we trust our respective lemmy instance to not be as corrupt?

I live in Japan and my steam deck is just too big to take outside and whip out on the train or elsewhere. I would definitely buy a switch lite sized device to bring with me outside. Those are the kind of devices I am looking forward to seeing.

What makes this better than a steam deck? The processor?

We went talking about a phone we were talking about a smartwatch...

That's amazing. I want to have that kind of relationship with my future kids/nieces/nephews.

Bruh I don't even have a kid yet. Also, this could be for peace of mind if the kid is in a position where they can't ask for help from someone else.

What is that lol

A smartwatch seems like an interesting way to keep in touch with your kid/keep track of them. I guess it could be abused like anything else though.
