I mean, compared to that new guy, Anjey Dupa is a saint.

I've happened earlier upon what Lech Walesa wrote in Facebook (?) about results of these elections, and it's just heartbreaking.

Oh, yep, SBU just officially announced that same number. My mistake.

Usually getting a notification that strategic bombers took off from Olenya meant setting an alarm in 3 hours (it's usually at night too) to go to shelter. They take off, fly to Caspian sea, and each launches a few dozen guided rockets at Ukraine.

There were almost 200 confirmed take offs from Olenya. So basically every week they have been bombing Ukrainian cities with guided rockets.

Their entire history, beginning from Duchy of Moscow, is being told as "that neighbouring tribe was threatening us, so we had to take some action", and that just happens over and over again until they reached Pacific ocean.

They had 3 wars with Chukcha people alone - and these people live in a region that would be best described as "frozen ass beyond polar cap". You'd think that people from swamps around Moscow would have no business occupying some frozen ass, but they didn't think so.

And that, ladies and gentlemen (and everyone else), may be entire Russian strategic bomber fleet, one that has been terrorizing Ukrainian cities for years now.

Every time they got their ass kicked - like when Kerch bridge was blown up or Moskva was sunk - you'd be sure to expect a bombing run at night. That was their temper tantrum weapon, and one that simply terrorized our people, Kyiv and outskirts had it really bad last few weeks. And now it may be gone.

It probably would make sense to jam drones around these bases, but I think that Russians simply didn't believe there would be any enemy drones 6000 km away from Ukraine.

There was a comment from Kyslytsia on how Russians behave on such talks, and also what they themselves announced:

  • demands to surrender 4 oblasts to them or they'll be demanding 8 next time.
  • talking about the war being "Russians versus Russians".
  • also the "need to remove root cause of conflict".
  • and my favourite: "no suing each other afterwards (entire delegation of theirs would stand no chance in Hague)".
  • also no reparations, but Ukraine has to pay for rebuilding of Donbass.

One has to be painfully dense to not see which side isn't "ready for peace", and sadly we have no shortage of such folks now.

Well, they'll probably have manlier problems to deal with since moving to Russia is leopard eating your face speedrun, with examples such as Russel Bentley or that one conservative Canadian family that sold their everything to move to Russia and got their money stolen by Russian banks.

As if Europe didn't have one demented moron routinely threatening everyone with nukes for years now. 🌚

It's funny in a morbid way, because to find "the root cause of conflict" Putin has to just take a look at a mirror, not look for them in Ukraine. Yet they're very insistent that "root causes if conflict" should be removed as part of any peace agreement.

Russian civilian development (Ozon, Wildberries, all those delivery services and aggregators)

Ugh, about that. Russians had these automated post cells appearing recently (where you come up with your phone and with few taps in an app a little door opens, so you can pick up your package) and some lady posted on socials "see, that's progress, can you see such technologies in Ukraine?".

That post went viral in Ukraine, because we've had these for almost a decade now.
