Never should have made it to the Supreme Court in the first place. Plaintiffs are literally arguing that Congress has to manage all programs itself. Massively stupid.

Depends on who responds. Some will just nod and inform the caller that they are indeed federal law enforcement, but others (who absolutely despise ICE as cosplaying wannabes) may decide that taking the actors into custody, even if only for their own protection if a crowd is forming, is the best course of action. If it happens enough, it should force DHS to direct agents to properly identify themselves, and even if not, some actual consequences for these thugs may discourage some from participating. And as others have pointed out, friction between law enforcement agencies is in the population’s best interest.
and there are still masked ~~officers~~ people abducting people off the street
If they refuse to show law enforcement ID, they are just armed people impersonating law enforcement. Call 911!
Well, after last night I think it’s safe to say I will not be liking the Dodgers as a whole any time soon. Ohtani and Teo are cool, though. Impossible to dislike Mookie.
Don’t make me like the Dodgers, please.
That’s exactly why it was doomed to failure the moment Elon was forced to complete his purchase of Twitter.
Trump fan and murderer? Doesn’t sound too Christian to me.
Nothing prevents Gavin from mobilizing the CA National Guard to protect protestors, as far as I know.
This is becoming more common in a variety of jobs. I work in tech, and have heard from colleagues about their experiences with nanny software. Without a union, your best bet is malicious compliance. I would start looking for hacker communities and posting there, because there can be simple but non-obvious ways to circumvent controls while still seeming to comply, which protects your job.
Except they aren’t targeting the one group they always said they would; masked thugs snatching people off the street.
