Some people say you can buy the tokens instead of a monthly subscription. They're not as openly offered as they get more cash from monthly obviously.

Ah yes, any time Trump is offended he calls people "nasty" and horrible people and all that shit. When he offends others, it's a privilege ...

The full LTT video outside of the WAN show is a lot better. In it he said that a company can just buy a lot of Steam Machines as their office computers giving no Steam sales to Valve and making them take the hit. He also gave a few more justifications as well as tariffs and others I think.

It's weird giving advice I've never taken but like ... use AI. Ask ChatGPT/Gemini about topics to cover and then ask more of them in-depth.

Don't forgot that you need to write Python too and not just read about it.

If they don't bail them out then think of all the jobs that will be lost when AI comes to fruition -- I mean the jobs that will be lost if they don't get their government money.

That's great info, I had to read up on it

FSR (FidelityFX Super Resolution) is an open-source technology from AMD that improves gaming performance by rendering games at a lower resolution and then upscaling the image to a higher resolution, with versions also including frame generation to increase frame rates.

I remember playing a game, I think it was either Spiderman or Control with Ray Tracing on and I was like "wow, these are amazing!" Then I realized I didn't actually turn it on. My dumb ass can't tell the difference.

I think the goal was 4K at 60 fps, but likely varying level of "detail" like you can probably do it with lower detailed settings rather than ultra or epic or what-have-you.

Yeah, my friends do cruises with their families too and are going to Florida and stuff to do those ... :/

I never noticed that and now I fear that's all I'll hear ...

If it's McDs, there's no lettuce on a cheeseburger right?

Or am I taking this too seriously.

Hi all,

I'm traveling for a few months so I picked up a used gaming laptop from one of those trading sites. It's an ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 2024.

I initially went with Windows because I wanted to game. I was gonna miss my terminal for dev and a bunch of other things but I thought compatibility and not dealing with hassle was more important for now. The thing is, for some reason, the laptop would be running really hot all the time ... even when idling.

I got fed up and I put Pop OS! loaded steam with the compatibility stuff and ran a few games really well. My only issue so far was that the laptop keyboard didn't work during installation but after an update it was fine. The laptop obviously gets hot when running games but when idling it runs really cool.

This is now making me feel like I can convert my gaming desktop over as well!

I was considering Bazzite too? Anyone know if it's worth it?
