Except that these are the law makers on the steps so if they are only functional as a protester then there are bigger problems afoot.

There was just a public discussion about which date to have the next big national action in the official Decisions place on Lemmy which is admittedly hard to find so here is a link https://50501.chat/c/Decisions@lemmy.fiftyfifty.one. The top options will now go through a ranked choice voting process.

There are also often state or local actions sometimes lead by partners or with short notice to respond to urgent events. You could organize something maybe a regular weekly event like many have done in various areas.

I think having one day as the big national day might help focus the turnout. Many of the proposed days seem good to me. I like that we are having more than one big day in April but I think by having only 1 planned far in advance leaves more space and capacity for smaller localized actions or for last minute actions responding to a particular event in this rapidly evolving situation.
