This is beyond retarded and virtually incoherent. If we were really going to onshore manufacturing, this is literally the ONLY manufacturing that makes sense for Americans to do. We're not going to be building widgets and fucking lawn decorations and other bullshit in this country. What a moron.

I'm using a Pixel 5. Replaced the screen and battery recently because there's no modern option for me. My thumb will be able to reach all corners of the screen in one hand operation or I'm just not buying it. I'd probably be better off without a phone anyway.

Not only do I completely agree with this, I am blown away that schools aren't actually using paper textbooks anymore. I only recently woke up to this lazy new way of teaching. I don't want my children even using devices at all for any purpose, let alone being required to use them for schoolwork. What the fuck kind of society are we creating?
