Webp's are the biggest pains in the butt. I hate them. Very few apps that I use support sharing them. I usually have to take a screenshot of the webp, save it as something that's not an idiot format, and THEN share it. I don't have anything against the format, itself, I just wish it was more widely-supported.

Are webp files giving you a hard time? They're a pain in the butt.
If by "fold" you mean "beaten into submission," then, yeah, I'd have to agree with you.
You're not wrong about anything you're saying, but I'm learning that a LOT of people are either / or with phones and computers; I know fewer and fewer people who have both. Making a local backup is ideal, but many can't or don't have that option.
I don't know if that matters really.
You might be exaggerating people's technical knowledge, desire to increase their technical knowledge, and / or their desire to effect change.
I'm from Ft. Worth, TX and have lived in CT for 20 years and I couldn't put my finger on what exactly it was that I missed most about it until I went down there last year. It's the balmy evening breeze. Gets me every time.
Didn't realize Bluesky was open source. Cool.
Or incredibly high.
There are two types of adults; old teenagers and grown-ups. I'm definitely an old teenager.
