things are not black and white for crooks who can't think selflessly. "criminal" is such an encompassing term that seems to put murderers, rapists, drug peddlers who sell to children vs. some weed smokers, falsely accused people, white collar criminals, petty criminals including shoplifters, jaywalkers, etc.
