was about to furiously reply with the same retort... but yeah. I LOVE green spaces

self hosting is anti-capitalist, so is being against urban brutalism.
you deleted your comment saying "you're saying exactly what i am saying with different words"
I want you to think about it like this. Some folk don't throw out their old stuff even if they could afford a new one. It's called "not being wasteful".
things are not black and white for crooks who can't think selflessly. I don't accept the premise that things are complex from assholes, if the only thing complicating things is their desire to punish others for their fragile ego or the need for power. Their arguments are just gaslighting for honest folk of this green earth.
hey the definition of criminal is set by fallible people so don't pretend it's the be all end all!
"criminal" is such an encompassing term that seems to put murderers, rapists, drug peddlers who sell to children vs. some weed smokers, falsely accused people, white collar criminals, petty criminals including shoplifters, jaywalkers, etc.
You can't seriously think someone who steals an apple from a shop needs the same treatment as a violent unrepentant murderer?
You’re gonna roll eyes on the answer or already know what needs to be done. We need to change the system so people are less inclined to shoplift.
Nice try. But no.
I bet that the amount of singular bills getting passed through both the house and senate that has spent money on helping common citizens is close to nil in the past decade.
There is no scenario in which what you describe is the reasoning for the bill getting voted against, especially by republicans.
You're reasoning feels like gymnastics to make republicans look good as you don't have an easy argument to make.
those who voted blue are also kind of assholes. You guys should get real democracy going: Ranked Choice Voting. Burn the current senate, congress and Supreme court down. Build them back properly.
