Exactly, I'm ethusiastically trashing him on a daily basis for free, I'd LOVE to get paid for it. I'd be so good at it, I'd probably get promoted.

Which is why if i were a foreign tourist, i would avoid America completely.

I suspect we'll still see some foreign tourists this summer, because they've already bought tickets and made reservations, and every place else is booked now, and it will be difficult to make last minute changes.

There will still be a drop in foreign visitors this summer, but next summer? Foreign tourists will be almost non-existent. All we will get are those wierdos who specifically seek out dangerous places to visit, as if we are war zone.

Who knows? Maybe by next summer we will be.

Trafficked is a catchall term used by the government to justify abuses, same as terrorism. They like to accuse Abrego Garcia of "human trafficking," which conjures images of evil men smuggling frightened young women into forced prostitution, when in reality, Garcia's "human trafficking" accusation stems from being pulled over while driving a van of men to a construction site for work.

In the old days, the goverment used to frighten citizens with warnings about "white slavery." They just updated the phrase, but the meaning and its intent are the same.

We haven't heard much from him over the past few weeks, and now we get this earnings call, and it is far worse than expected. He's known this was coming, and has been laying low, probably hoping things will improve some before making what he knows will be a disastrous earnings call. Its the equivalent of watching your diet 3 days before a doctor's appointment, hoping your weight gain and cholesterol increase won't be as bad as you know it is.

Also, it's a safe bet that his board of directors is livid, and that he has been ordered by his board to get back to work, or be removed as CEO of Tesla.

There is almost certainly a shareholder class-action suit brewing over his reckless and irresponsible behavior over the last several months, which has directly caused severe, and probably irreparable damage to the company's brand image AND it's sales around the world, as well as tanking the stock price, an unforgiveable sin in the investing world. Now that the bubble has popped, it will never inflate again. As future earnings reports are released, and sales continue to slide, the stock will continue to decline, and the cycle will continue until bankruptcy. And it is all traceable to Skum's self-indulgent, egotistical behavior.

The only question is will Skum be the only defendant, or will the lawsuit also name the individual members of the board, for not reigning him in, or firing him. They don't want to be sued alongside him, so they are forcing him to get back to work saving Tesla, thus letting them off the hook for legal liability.

Its doubtful Skum will be able to save Tesla at this point, its almost certainly too late. It is also probably too late to avoid a shareholder lawsuit. Investors have lost millions of dollars, not due to the vagaries of the market, but due to Skum's outrageous behavior, like throwing up celebratory Nazi salutes on national TV, which, as CEO, he should have realized would damage his company and its investors significantly.

And arguing that he didn't recognize the danger in advance is no excuse at all for a CEO, who should have been able to predict the response to his self-indulgent ego bender.

Shareholders have lost many millions, and they won't just let that go with an "Oh well." He's likely going to get sued, and the board is just making sure they don't go down with him.

We need to stop calling them tariffs, and start calling the taxes, and start giving HitlerPig credit for the largest tax increase in American history. Many people dont understand what tariffs are, and who pays them, but they understand taxes, and Republicans have spent DECADES making their followers believe that taxes are the worst thing in the world.

When people complain about high prices, blame them on HitlerPig's taxes, and repeat it constantly. Every Democrat should talk about HitlerPig's onerous tax increases in every on-air appearance, empathizing with the financial issues that every working American is feeling. Emphasize that this isn't a partisan issue, its not about Conservative/ Liberal or Republican/ Democrat, it's about working Americans stuggling to keep their head above water.

People get angry about taxes, especially when they are feeling the pain from tax increases. Time to twist the knife, and remind people that it was HitlerPig that stuck that knife in their ribs.

Not only did they cheat their way into power in the 2024 election, they convinced the Dems to remain silent about it, lest their criticisms of 2020 Election Denials be turned against them.

But their second biggest win was convincing the Dems that they lost fair & square, and thus getting the Dems to completely turn on each other and destroy themselves from within.

The Democratic Party needs some serious reform, mostly embracing a more Progressive path, but their core tenets are still solid.

Following the Oklahoma City Bombing, EVERYBODY jumped on the Muslim Terrorist bandwagon, but it didn't sit right with me. Why would a Muslim bomb a building in OKC? Most Muslims wouldnt even know what Oklahoma is. Why wouldnt they pick a more iconic target? It's all about making a statement, after all. It just smelled like a homegrown terrorist to me, and those around me derided me for being a "Muslim-lover."

Then it turned out to be a standard issue American white guy, with blurry motivations beyond being generally pissy about the government for some incomprehensible reason.
