I've been expecting this, and it isn't the only thing coming.

Before the recent earnings call, which was far worse than we even expected, we hadn't heard much from him over the previous few weeks. He knew that terrible call was coming, and had been laying low, probably hoping things would improve some before making what he knew would be a disastrous earnings call. It was the equivalent of watching your diet 3 days before a doctor's appointment, hoping your weight gain and cholesterol increase won't be as bad as you know it is.

Also, it was a safe bet that his board of directors was livid, and that he had been ordered by his board to get back to work, or be removed as CEO of Tesla, and now it looks like they are moving toward with firing him. So why that decision?

The probable reason is that now that the earnings call confirmed what everyone suspected, there is almost certainly a shareholder class-action suit brewing over his reckless and irresponsible behavior over the last several months, which has directly caused severe, and probably irreparable damage to the company's brand image AND it's sales around the world, as well as tanking the stock price, an unforgiveable sin in the investing world. Now that the bubble has popped, it will never inflate again. As future earnings reports are released, and sales continue to slide, the stock will continue to decline, and the cycle will continue until bankruptcy. And it is all traceable to Skum's self-indulgent, egotistical behavior.

The only question is will Skum be the only defendant, or will the lawsuit also name the individual members of the board, for not reigning him in, or firing him. They don't want to be sued alongside him, so they are forcing him to get back to work saving Tesla, or even getting rid of him altogether, thus letting them off the hook for legal liability.

Its doubtful Skum, or anyone else, will be able to save Tesla at this point, its almost certainly too late. It is also probably too late to avoid a shareholder lawsuit. Investors have lost millions of dollars, not due to the vagaries of the market, but due to Skum's outrageous behavior, like throwing up celebratory Nazi salutes on national TV, which, as CEO, he should have realized would damage his company and its investors significantly.

And arguing that he didn't recognize the danger in advance is no excuse at all for a CEO, who should have been able to predict the response to his self-indulgent ego bender.

Shareholders have lost many millions, and they won't just let that go with an "Oh well." He's likely going to get sued, and the board is just making sure they don't go down with him.

Every Democrat since Nixon has inherited a TERRIBLE Republican economy, and has had to enter office with an immediate, emergency economic stumulus program. Biden not only had to fix the economy when he took office, he also had to launch a Covid vaccination program. Both were extremely successful, and the only problems with either one was solely because of Republican interference/ propaganda.

Of course it was. It was just a political stunt to pump up his street cred as a warrior, in advance of an eventual announcement for a presidential campaign.

Then he votes for the MAGA Nazis.

We decided we needed to be able to shut down drug dealers by seizing their money without need for any real proof.

This is why it was so important to declare a "War on Drugs." Most people thought it was just political rhetoric, but it was far more than that. By declaring a literal WAR on drugs, it offers the government an array of options that aren't available in peacetime. One of those being the ability to alter the way suspects/combatants and their possessions/ weapons are treated. Money and valuables can be treated as a tool of drug dealing, and confiscated as spoils of war.

It's piracy.

I am really sick of the "mainstream media," which is supposed to be so liberal. What passes for "journalism" these days is appalling.

When the El Salvador dictator met with HitlerPig in the Oval Office, Pam Bondi said that a plane could be sent for Garcia, but it they couldnt do it because they had no control over the landing in El Salvador. Then Trump said it wasnt up to us , it was up to El Salvador, and we couldnt control that. The the El Salvador dictator said that he couldn't "smuggle" Garcia back to America, and he had nonl right to speak for another nation, and that it was a preposterous question.

And that was the end of it. Not one "journalist" stepped up with indignation, and said "Lets end this charade! Literally EVERY, SINGLE PERSON in the entire world that is required to make this decision is in this room right now. Nobody has to say, 'Sounds good, let me run it past the bosses and get back to you.' The people required to make this happen on both sides are literally sitting right next to each other. Why can't you look at each other and agree to make it happen?" And then pushed them to cut a deal, or not, in front of the entire world.

The reporter who would have done that would have become the most famous journalist in the world at that moment. It would have totally changed the trajectory of their career, but not one of them did it. They seem to think that their job is to provide a platform for the MAGA Nazis to spew their propaganda, unchallenged.

And perhaps that is exactly their jobs, as demanded by their owners, who are Sociopathic Oligarchs and Corporations who have donated to HitlerPig's Inauguration fund.

Republicans no longer exist. It is the MAGA party, and it has very little in common with the Traditional GOP.

And all MAGAs are Traitors.

And a swastika represents "good fortune" and "well-being" in Hindu and other Indian cultures, concepts I would support, but I still wouldn't get it tattooed on my body because of it's other meanings.

If this guy is ignorant of the more recent meanings, that is just as troubling as if he knew their modern interpretations. If someone had elaborate Nazi imagery all over their body, and they were truly ignorant of the meanings, I would not think that they possessed the intelligence and judgement to supervise any people or projects.

Whether he knew about it or not, it's a problem, and this guy is in charge of the Pentagon.

Exactly. Critical Thinking is the literally the most imoportant skill you cn learn. Critical Thinking is what allows people to recognize nonsensical propaganda immediately upon hearing it, and reject it.

It worked for me back in the late 80s, when Rush Limbaugh got started. He had a very entertaining delivery, but I was easily rejecting his unsourced bullshit and blatant lies, while people were calling in praising him for "opening their eyes." Dude, he's entertaining, I get that, but that doesn't mean he isn’t lying to you.

What Conservatives would like us to forget is that many regulations are written in blood.
