I can go to Chilis and get a REAL cheeseburger, fries, and a drink, for $10.99. If I'm in their free club, I get a free chips & salsa on every visit, too. If I leave a $2 tip (18%), it's only $12.99, which is about same as a standard burger/fries/drink combo at McDonald's.

Also, McDonald's burgers are among the worst in the business, with nearly every other burger place beating them easily. We now have Culvers entering our market, and their burgers and fries blow away everyone else. They have really wide menu, and are actually cheaper than everyone else.

McD is also losing out go the quickly rising chicken tender trend, where their nuggests also compare poorly.

Their best thing is breakfast, where they are still the leader, but they are getting expensive there, too.

They've opend up a couple of new outlets near me, and they are obviously getting ready to go robotic. The dining areas are empty, with no drink stations, condiments, or even dispensers for straws or napkins. There is a wall that blocks the view of the kitchen area, so you can't see who, or how many people are back there. It could be completely automated right now, and you'd never know it.

Now that every Tesla investor's worst fears were confirmed by the recent earnings call, there is almost certainly a shareholder class action lawsuit on the way. He can't claim that their losses are due to the vagaries of the stock market, they are directly tied to his personal behavior. He went on a narcissistic ego bender, throwing up Nazi salutes, waving chainsaws, and eagerly gloating about destroying the goverment and firing tens of thousands of people, among other things. It was a reasonable expectation that his behavior would have a negative effect response from the public, and damage both his, and the company's, brand image, and yet he did it anyway.

After that self-indulgent display, the shareholders aren't going to just accept their significant losses with an "Oh, well," while he continues on as the world's wealthiest man. They are going to want satisfaction. The only real question is do they sue him alone, or do they also sue the board members for not reigning him in and/or removing him? This report that they are looking for a replacemt means that they've decided to use the nuclear option, and get rid of him, hoping that will keep the shareholders from naming them as defendents, too.

Tesla is almost surely cooked by now. The damage he has done to their brand image is irreparable. The media always treated Tesla deferentially, treading lightly on any bad news, which was often. That media image allowed the stock price to inflate comically into a classic bubble.

Now his behavior has flipped the script, and his stock bubble has popped, and once a bubble has popped, it never reinflates. In the foreseeable future, nearly all media reports will focus on the negative, and the brand image will continue to be poor, and the stock will continue to have an overall decreasing trend. There is no reason to believe that the company's brand image, once flying high, will improve over the rest of the year, and future earnings calls will continue to be negative. And it isnt just happening in America. If anything, foreign markets are in even worse shape.

Yeah, he's about to get sued, and he doesn't have a single defense that could save him. This is ALL him, and the shareholders will hold him responsible in court.

Tesla will file for bankruptcy in two years.

I read every word. Effective propaganda is possible in all formats. Sometimes it's a tshirt, sign, bumper sticker, chant, etc., and sometimes it isnt.

Realistic? Realistically, those military leaders are not the kind of people who are just going to accept this. They have spent their entire lives protecting America, amd our nuclear arsenal from threats. I doubt they are going to just fold up in the face of comically blustery MAGA Nazi intimidation.

Pure fantasy is thinking that somehow this situation is going to resolve on its own, or believing that these guys held normal jobs, and are now on Indeed, sending out resumes, and going to job interviews.

This won't resolve in a positive direction without tough leadership, and the best military leadership in the world has been benched. I'm sure they'd love to get back into the game, especially with such an important objective in the line.

He used to support tobacco companies, was a tobacco cancer denier, and wanted to end the embargo with Cuba so he could get their cigars cheaper. His cigar habit ended up killing him prematurely.

He deserved the cancer that killed him, but I wish his death had been so much worse.

Tax wealth, not work.

I've lost 80 in the last 18 months, but it was my choice, not HitlerPig's.

Every time he replaces an experienced government leader/ worker with a loyalist, he gives the Resistance the Gift of Competence.

The military is now run by absolute morons, while the previous leadership, who is highly experienced, moral, serious, and COMPETENT, are all on our side. Do you think they are all just hanging out on the back porch, drinking scotch and waiting for Wheel of Fortune to come on? Just ignoring the oath they actually took seriously, as the nuclear inventory that they spent their lives and highly successful careers protecting, is in the hands of the most corrupt traitors in American history?

We haven't heard a word from those people, and it can't be because they just don't care. They are definitely making plans for the day that HitlerPig declares Martial Law, and suspends elections, habeus corpus, due process, etc. When they call for the current military members to make a choice between the MAGA wannabees, and operating under real military leaders, most will choose Competence over Chaos.
