Enjoy it. A great number of people in the US have been conditioned to tie up their sense of worth to their job, and can’t comprehend there’s more to life.

I’d take 12 years paternity leave if I could.

I agree with you what is being done to freedom of expression is outrageous. I’m not aware of changes with freedom of religion, nor presidential term limits. There’s a case for arguing birthright citizenship doesn’t apply to people born here with illegal parents, it will be debated in court.

To answer your question, Trump during his first term passed legislation to enhance protection of animals. Recently he brokered a ceasefire deal in Gaza. A reasonable person can oppose most of his actions and also acknowledge when he does good ones.

The top 1% pay 40% of all federal income taxes.

You realize the rich would still be paying income taxes, as they make more than $150k… and they would be paying those sales taxes too.

You want to bet on Canada joining the EU before Trump’s term ends?

You might want to leave your world and join the real world back, where not everything is black and white.

You asked for good policies, I gave you good policies. You want to pretend everything MAGA does is bad? Go for it, I’m not stopping you if you don’t care about being accurate.

No income tax on people earning less than $150k for example.

Trump has also passed animal protection laws during his first term.

Well no, when MAGA wants something that’s actually good, there’s no reason to oppose it.

That’s not happening. The #1 requirement to join the EU is … <drum rolls…> to be in Europe.
