No, this is like if the nazi party rally grounds in Nürnberg were used as a venue for music festivals

It certainly can happen still with this. And the destruction removes a lot of the monetary incentive for use as an event venue for racists. There are many historical sites in ruins that are used for education

Maybe now the ruins can be a museum actually dedicated to teaching and remembering the history of slavery in the US, rather than... weddings

Unfortunately many employment agreements in the US are "at will" meaning either party can terminate it immediately at will. In states where this is legal (almost all of them), you'd be hard-pressed to find any company willing to do it any other way.

Damn. In the US it's totally normalized now to just spam hundreds of job applications per month to hopefully hear back from maybe one of them

What the hell is this incoherent centrist ai slop?

[–] Strawberry@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 1 month ago

What a terrible headline. Most people aren't gonna understand why that's unethical and harmful

I refuse to take anyone’s side that murders innocent people. Children should NEVER be victims of political wars. When politicians that make these decisions put their own children in the line of fire, then tell me “I should really take a side”.

So you should really have a side by now.

You can easily administrate a region without walling off that region

If you've said it before you could just copy and paste it
