B.C.'s Energy Ministry says the United States has paused negotiations with Canada on the wide-reaching Columbia River Treaty that regulates everything from flood control and power generation to water supply and salmon restoration in the region.

This one image really brings the whole situation into perspective.

 

In his news conference today, Trudeau said Canada will hold firm and push ahead with retaliatory tariffs and other measures until Trump backs off entirely.

A bald eagle may have thought it spotted an easy lunch in a Canada goose sitting on an icy bay in Burlington, Ont., but according to Mervyn Sequeira — who watched and photographed a 20-minute battle between the two birds — the goose held its own.

 

@LightOnFoot has only posted twice in the past two years and the modlog is empty.
