Vanilla Invidious currently doesn't work well, so most hosters paused and/or gave up.

This is the reason why I stopped to host my own. It's so painful to maintain

Like the title says, I want to ask the dev if it's possible to add this feature. I remember when I used reddit, I used to use an app called "Boost for Reddit" and it had this nice feature that highlighted the new comments in previously opened posts. Boost used some brighter background color for the new comments but that's up to you, maybe something visible.The picture shows how it was for boost

I think it would be nice to see what new comments you have in previously opened posts

If I have to open a github feature request, let me know
