Most Israelis are Mizrahi Jews without any connection to Europe

Nope, he was always in Gaza.

An analysis of battlefield videos released by Hamas and interviews with three Hamas members and scores of Israeli soldiers

Using civilian homes and infrastructure — including medical facilities, U.N. offices and mosques — to conceal fighters, tunnel entrances, booby-traps and ammunition stores;
Ambushing Israeli soldiers with small groups of fighters dressed as civilians, as well as using civilians, including children, to act as lookouts;

The video seems to show Hamas fighters, their faces blurred, sitting on patterned mats as they plan the attack. They use pen, paper and a digital tablet to draw simplistic maps detailing where they want to plant a set of roadside mines.
“We ask, O Lord, for the ambush to achieve its goals — let us kill your enemies, the Jews,” the narrator says.

Hezbollah MP and parliamentary bloc leader Mohammad Raad sparked controversy on social media when he called some Lebanese "reckless" and accused them of caring only about their comfort and relaxation, criticizing them for "going to the beach and nightclubs while the south is under attack."

Lebanese Forces announce MP Pierre Bou Assi responded to Raad on X saying, “You classify Lebanese according to your taste. Who exactly are these vile people you're talking about? If you have the audacity, name them. And who authorized you to defend us outside the state and as representatives of the people? With all due respect, explain to us how you're defending Lebanon and supporting Gaza? All of Lebanon is collapsing due to your policies and your illusory and destructive divine victories. Have you strengthened any economic or social resilience in Lebanon? Do you think your Iranian rockets will feed the people?”

Surprising, but sounds positive.
A civil administration in Gaza sponsored by Arab countries and without the involvement of Israel? Won't that be a precursor to a Palestinian state?
