Well yeah, agreed, stark differences can be scary and difficult for children to comprehend without some explaination. But this tool a full-ass adult person who knows full-well the wallowed weight of that woefully wretched word.

There's a mistake and there's being a piece of shit. He smells is all I'm saying.

I think any idea is worth listening to, it's the assertion that we must inherently accept their viewpoint as valid that is outright absurd.

Ah that's fair, I appreciate your straightforwardness. I am definitely going to educate myself further on this. The human brain is fucking wild.

It kind of degrades my respect and trust for this community. The fact that we need a completely different subreddit so people can try to educate themselves on sensitive subjects is pretty sad. I'd get it if this guy was asking in bad faith, but it seems like a sincere question.

How do we know anything? I spend a lot of time around him, observed his behaviors and interactions with the world, and have taken away that he is more capable than some people understand. I'm not making a general observation, just a personal one, hence why I am asking for further studies to imperically show me the general data.

As a bit of a rant, what you've said is pretty silly in any context. Are you telling me body language and physical interaction are not inherent forms of communication? We evolved and worked together for millions of years without spoken word.

I'm actually very fascinated by this, but you seem to have forgotten your context. I have a severely autistic brother in law with down syndrome. He's non-verbal but definitely comprehends much of what is going on around him beyond how a child reacts to the world. Can you tell me where to read more about this? Honestly, I'm not sure what I would google to find this study.

People will feel the economic impact like a freight train here pretty soon, and hopefully that pisses off the idiot cult enough to make them turn on the republican party. They might not ever turn on trump, but I think his base will turn on the party quick once they start to really struggle. Then maybe we can rebuild some of this madness, invest in science and education, and have a reasonably well educated populas; and then maybe fascism will die.

Most likely wishful thinking. I've lived long enough to see my political efforts fall completely flat or get reversed outright. The people who share my viewpoints either can't be bothered, for some fucking crazy reason, or insist to "play by the rules". Fuck the rules, they don't play by the rules. It's time to get a fucking spine and fight back, but we've been given too much bread and too many circuses, so much that at least half of us would rather collapse society than share or take less.

We are vain, narcissistic, horrible little parasites that feel entitled to impose our will how we see fit. Yes, at the moment I mean this strongly about Myself and fellow Americans, but this disaster is far from unique to us. Countless species extinct, counteless lives taken, countless pain inflicted. Human beings are the apex invasive species, and there is no one at all to put us into check. It's hard to feel like any of this is undeserved, and it's foolish to think we deserve anything at all.

I generally try to be positive, and you can save your fingers from debating with me. I just don't care anymore. We could kill ourselves tomorrow and I would only feel relief for the life that will thrive without us fucking it all up. Fuck every last one of us.

IF YOU'RE A GOOSE, IM A GOOSE.

It was always a bit of a pipe dream to think we could draw enough users to have a notable impact, because the majority of people just don't care. Plain and simple. Fine with me, they can have their little racist narwhal, and I'll be here reading bitter rants for amusement.

I agree lightly on not deleting posts, but probably because that account holds 10+ years of my life. I also have a post that people follow up with me on once or twice a year because it is in relation to a difficult to get book relating to severe depression. A big part of me feels wrong taking a resource away from vulnerable people looking for help.

I still check specialized subreddits when I need specific information, and I check for any messages to see if someone needs a hand. That said, I nearly completely lessened my contribution to a company I no longer respect, that's a good enough for me.
