I live in Athens. I just want to say Kudos to all the greeks, they are hard worker, simple and unpretentious people. Its so unfortunate that these people need to work long hour.

And the rent here is a problem thanks to AirBNB and greedy landlords, for example i know people who needs to pay €400 monthly rent (not included utilities bills) with their €1000 monthly salary, and at the end of the month they have nothing to save.

In my opinion, If sovereignty is the goal i think GTK based DE will be safer than QT based DE.

I am aware of The Free QT foundation And its relation to KDE but in a long term there is possibility of things might get complicated if there is change in policy . And even the QT trademark is not totally free. I'm not trying to start DE war, i love both KDE and GNOME.

Thank you for Informative infograpahic. However i have doubt about recommending Waterfox, in my opinion it should not be recommended for the reason that its involved in an unclear business practice to sustain its development.

Waterfox is a fork of Firefox with some tweaking, probably somewhat close to LibreWolf which i think have better offering for being more a community driven project.

However, web browser is a complex piece of software, features and important bugs & security fixes being added from time to time, so it is also important to consider how fast they merge the change from Upstream (Firefox). If it's too long to to get update it could introduce security issues. So as of now i don't see any viable alternative to Firefox, Chromium or even Ungoogled Chromium.
