Don't worry sweetie, I won't be trying to have any intelligent conversations with you in the future because I know you lack the prerequisites.

Do some simple math and tell me how much tax money less than 45,000 people generate a year. (Fun fact: The total population includes people who do not pay any taxes!)

Medicine expires, abortions are not regular daily procedures that would use the paid for and shipped medication regularly enough to justify the cost when a fraction of about half of any population would ever use the medicine, nurses still need to be paid for, and telecommunications are incredibly unreliable in rural areas to begin with.

I take it you’ve never lived in a rural or remote community. They tend to be disproportionately underfunded and impoverished (and in the Territories, many of the people living in those places are from Indigenous or mixed-race backgrounds, whice opens a whole other can of worms).

I take it you are a virtue signalling pseudo intellectual who doesn't know that total tax money is equal to the total tax paying population, so you need to pretend like you know anything about me so you can attack it.

Responding to me further will only waste your own time.

Well, I googled exactly that and as I knew, it doesn’t say what you propose. Can you explain what the fuck you mean? Free will has no evidence nor does no free will. It’s a philosophical question and science can only confirm that we make choices. Your hostile arguments are so hard to interpret. What do you mean. No, there is not more evidence that we do. What evidence? Why is it so easy to find and basic to you that you become angry, yet it turns out you made it up? Can you elaborate?

Stop projecting the fact that you are ignorant and angry on to others, and instead educate yourself and seek therapy.

Don't expect further response.

Take your bad faith arguing elsewhere.

Your argument is that you don’t have to provide proof that free will has been solved because it is easy to Google it.

No.

My point is that free will has not been "solved" but there is more evidence that humans do not have it than there is evidence that we do. It has yet to be determined one way or the other.

This isn't an argument, it is a fact.

Respond to my points without the use of false equivalencies, or don't respond at all.

Move that goal post you keep shuffling around into the middle of the street and play net if you want to make the world a better place. Works better than senselessly arguing with someone online about the merits of "Documenting sales and keeping age restricted items behind the counter" to solve deeply ingrained social issues.

You said yourself that 1/4 of people don’t live in Whitehorse. Travelling around Yukon isn’t easy, quick, or cheap. Mail services are being trialled and I think that’s a lot better of a solution than offering it free at one place and fuck everywhere else.

You’re also being rude and vague at the same time, which is a horrible combination for being understood. Take a breath and actually make a real point instead of allusions to one.

I have made a "real" point twice, and it is not my fault that you and OP do not understand it.

One last time for the reading impaired:

The entire Yukon territory has about 45,000 people, with 3/4’s of the population living in the Capital of Whitehorse.

Abortion access is non negotiable, but one location is sufficient for a total population less than 45,000 where less than 22,500 people would ever require the service.

What part of “total population of 45,000 in the entire territory” was difficult for you to comprehend, and why do you believe that population can afford more than what is currently available?

We all know it is because of our big cocks so we don't need to spread misinformation.

[–] Arkouda@lemmy.ca -3 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Do you understand how taxes work?

[–] Arkouda@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 week ago (3 children)

Herein lies the problem. There are facts in the news article that you seem to be ignoring.

Like the fact that if you take away machetes people from Manitoba can and will find a way to kill one another, because they have the number 2 homicide rate in the country, so wasting time on banning a single possible weapon is pointless when it obviously isn't the issue?

Not when you have to travel to the only hospital in that territory to get the pills for free. Otherwise you pay between $300-$500 for the prescription everywhere else.

What part of "total population of 45,000 in the entire territory" was difficult for you to comprehend, and why do you believe that population can afford more than what is currently available?
