It's such a stupid system. I did a little research when this was introduced and sure, if I try to go to porn sites then a lot of them will ask for verification. But, I can just go to a search engine and type "hot naked girls", turn off 'safe search' and be rewarded with as more pussy pictures than I can shake my stick at. But, as we all know, this law has nothing to do with protecting kids and everything to do with the UK becoming an authoritarian quasi-facist oligarchy.

The reality is that it's not to protect children at all. It's to keep an eye on any potential threat to their power.
So the shareholders can afford the nice champagne for their meetings.
