dihydrogen monoxide should be a controlled substance. Briefly immersing a newborn baby in a bucket full of it can easily stop their breathing, and likely kill the baby. How could we countenance piping this dangerous substance into literally every home? It’s insane!

Per the article, it's already added in things like bread. They're mandating it in tortillas because the Latino population eats a lot of tortillas instead of bread, and has a higher birth defect rate as a result.
