The state has been misusing its monopoly on state-sanctioned violence for too long, using it instead on black people and minorities instead of using it on these people like it should've been.

I advocate for more state sanctioned violence, but I get to decide who we use it against. First we came for the Nazis, and I did not speak out, because I was not a Nazi... Then we came for the white supremacists, and I did not speak out because I was not a white supremacist. Then we came for the fascists, and maybe I was a fascist too, because it takes one to know one. But the world rejoiced anyway, and I'll sacrifice myself for the greater good.

What of us who would happily live under the wisdom and guidance of first nations?

I hate that there are people like these.

I understand and acknowledge and feel guilt and shame over what has been and what is still being done. I do my best to speak with, and listen to members of the different tribes and nations wherever I may happen to be able to.

I've done work that exposed the RCMP using impossiblly obtained photographs trying to frame certain members of committing crimes. (Metadata , my friends)

I get that if we were all gone I wouldn't have to do that.

But, I truly love this land, this nature, and I respect it for what it is and how it should be treated.

I am sorry for any and all acts of my ancestors that were harmful. I cannot apologize for the police who commit acts of terror and torture such ad the starlight tours - that's on them. ACAB. But I can denounce it, condemn it, speak loudly and widely about it.

But yet again, if we were all gone....

Fuck.

People suck. We ruin it for everybody.
