Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.

When he dies the celebration is going to be worldwide. I mean historically remembered as one of the greatest days ever.

[–] Valmond@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 4 hours ago

I think it will be more of an oof moment, thanks for that, now let's move on.

[–] Carvex@lemmy.world 52 points 6 hours ago (2 children)

Can someone roll him into a home already?

[–] oxysis@lemmy.blahaj.zone 40 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

Preferably one that’s six feet deep

[–] Rocketpoweredgorilla@lemmy.ca 8 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

I think we're gonna need a bigger hole.

[–] some_designer_dude@lemmy.world 2 points 2 hours ago

It’s gonna be a lake of urine when everyone’s done pissing on his grave. Might as well make it a toilet. A toilet of solid gold, though.

[–] MajorasTerribleFate@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 hour ago* (last edited 1 hour ago)

Should go ahead and build him a Whiter House, or Whitest House, one where he also doesn't have to live with any prior residents having been black. Set it up in some sort of non-state U.S. territory, maybe give it a legal arrangement like a Native American reservation, but call it something he'll be happy about. Exclusive Territory, or VIP Room. Still subject to major crime laws of the federal government.

Just driving home the fact that the President of the United States is a deranged lunatic with the emotional development of a toddler and an ego that's so grossly inflated ¡that it's stretched as thin and fragile as tissue.

[–] prole@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 2 hours ago* (last edited 2 hours ago)

And tens of millions of Americans still stand by their vote for him.

[–] tigeruppercut@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 hour ago

Is there anyone who can stop him from nuking something this time around?

[–] Kronusdark@lemmy.world 41 points 6 hours ago (4 children)

I kinda just wish he’d won 2020 at this point. He wouldn’t have had 4 years to regroup with the project 2025 fascists, and we’d be done with him now.

[–] Sciaphobia@sh.itjust.works 56 points 5 hours ago (2 children)

We'd also be done with him if he'd been prosecuted for the crimes. Even though they were fairly minor, like trying to usurp the will of the people and overthrow democracy, it would have done the trick.

[–] jordanlund@lemmy.world 12 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

He was prosecuted and convicted, just never actually sentenced.

[–] Sciaphobia@sh.itjust.works 21 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

If you mean the 34 felonies, that judge effectively said his punishment would be nothing. Which is very fun by the way - when has a non rich person gotten to shrug off dozens of felony convictions? He was never charged, as far as I'm aware, in connection to the coup attempt.

[–] Rhaedas@fedia.io 10 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

Impeachments without a result are also convictions without consequences. If anything they showed him he could do whatever he wanted, so he has.

[–] MajorasTerribleFate@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

Gonna get real pedantic here. It's passé that "impeachment" is the part the House of Representatives does, then the Senate gets their vote. If 2/3 of the Senage agree the person did the bad, this means they are "convicted" by the Senate which automatically leads to removal from office. So, a conviction in reference to the broader "impeachment" process comes with very real consequences, by definition.

[–] Rhaedas@fedia.io 1 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

Yes, you're right, an acquittal does mean not convicted. Even when the general attitude among the Republicans wasn't that the impeachment findings were wrong, just that it wasn't a big deal to them (mainly concerning the first time, but I guess also the second since storming the Capitol wasn't enough to change their mind). So again the message was sent that he had free reign.

[–] MajorasTerribleFate@lemmy.zip 1 points 9 minutes ago

Definitely don't disagree with you there.

[–] Kronusdark@lemmy.world 5 points 5 hours ago

Thats true too.

[–] tacosanonymous@mander.xyz 8 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

There were so many other possibilities to stop his return. Most of them would be better than him ever having a second term.

[–] Kronusdark@lemmy.world 2 points 1 hour ago

In no way did I intend insinuate that this would be the BEST outcome. Im just lamenting that we still have to deal with him at all.

[–] pelespirit@sh.itjust.works 8 points 5 hours ago

I see what you're saying, but I needed the break.

[–] snooggums@piefed.world 7 points 5 hours ago

If he won 2020 the project 2025 crew would have still put in the work and we would be in his third, still unconstitutional, term.

[–] SnarkoPolo@lemmy.world 25 points 3 hours ago

I hope Shitgibbon has a miserable holiday. Stumbling the halls at Mar-a-Lardo, watching Hannity reruns and shouting at the screen.

His family hates him.

No real friends.

No music.

No enjoyment of food.

Not even a dog.

Crappy Holidays, you child murdering piece of shit.

[–] Tikiporch@lemmy.world 21 points 3 hours ago (2 children)

Explain the Somali hate to me. It's already come up at family gatherings this holiday, and I can say with 100% certainty there aren't any Somali immigrants within 200 miles of this community.

[–] Mister_Feeny@fedia.io 24 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

Ilhan Omar is Somali born. She is critical of him, ergo he wants to remove all Somalis from the country. It's just hate all the way down.

[–] 87Six@lemmy.zip 5 points 2 hours ago

I expected nothing less yet I'm still disappointed

[–] satanmat@lemmy.world 1 points 3 hours ago

It is a dog whistle— they’re black Therefore a shit county

[–] givesomefucks@lemmy.world 19 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

He's got to pump it out over holidays, because it's one of the few days right/left still mix.

The last thing the wealthy want is people sitting down at a table and realizing the shit we fight over isn't as important as what the wealthy are doing to all of us.

It's just a distraction to keep us from uniting against them.

So trump wants his voters riled up and angry so no discussions can happen.

[–] Auli@lemmy.ca 6 points 5 hours ago

It works to well and has been for years. Look at slavery in the US when the white and black slaves united against the rich. They got scared and divided them with the oh you are not as bad as the black slaves. I mean we are talking hundreds of years of this divide. They do it cause it works.

[–] shittydwarf@piefed.social 16 points 6 hours ago (2 children)

He is the only toddler that should be dumped in Lake Michigan

[–] hovercat@lemmy.blahaj.zone 16 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

Please don't pollute our beautiful lakes with garbage.

[–] nforminvasion@lemmy.world 7 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

Didn't they also kill the girl?

[–] foodandart@lemmy.zip 5 points 5 hours ago

Apparently so.

Well he didn't drown a newborn so we're gonna have to chalk this up as a win

[–] Ironfist79@lemmy.world 9 points 1 hour ago

He can't even just say Merry Christmas like a normal person.

[–] Triumph@fedia.io 2 points 4 hours ago

A fucking hundred??

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 2 points 4 hours ago

He really is the national grandpa we don't speak to anymore
