What if I want to de-normalize the idea that good people become president?
In my opinion Jimmy Carter was the last good person to be a president but we shouldn’t normalize Trump’s behaviors and actions as president and before because we don’t like the institution.
I get the point, but this seems silly. One sex offender is president that consistently ranks towards the upper middle of presidential rankings.
The other sex offender has destroyed a good number of your institutions, shows no signs of stopping and consistently ranks dead last even among his genocidal presidential peers.
Posting this means you are either a both sides idiot or a crazy accelerationist. Either way, yuck.

Where do I find those "presidential rankings" and does killing half a million children affect one's spot in them?
Yeah, it moves the needle, but unfortunately not a lot because there’s a lot of children killing going on when you are the leader of the global hegemonic power. But that’s exactly the point. Even when graded on the scale of US presidents, who commit or facilitate or contribute to a few genocides per term on average, TRUMP IS UNIQUELY BAD.
Your insistence on not recognizing this is, frankly, worrying.
The only unique thing about Trump is that he's bringing the evil America likes to export abroad to its own soil, but that's not the point I'm making here. In criticizing Trump Americans (including you in your parent comment) tend to defend the pre-Trump status quo and past administrations. Sure Trump is uniquely autocratic, but that doesn't mean evil ghouls like Obama and Clinton deserve anything other than condemnation.
I'm pretty sure we hate them all.
