Civics 101: whenever you legislate a new power, imagine people you don't like wielding it.
I really hope AB doesn’t make confirming to stay in Canada a referendum vote tradition every few years. I have high hopes the vote to leave will be summarily trounced in this Can-US relations environment.
It SHOULD be. Most folks here are definitely Canadian first. Its this stupid ass vocal minority that gets the attention though.
The forever Canadian movement showed just how much support staying in Canada will get. I remember seeing tons of folks on highway over passes with Canadian flags and signs waving in support.
If this involved any other province, I'd think it was a Beaverton headline.
