Ark seems to fit into the same niche that enjoys Roblox, Fortnite, and Five Nights at Freddy's. That might make a statement about how much money they have.
I see, children.
It's that weird niche of taming and owning dinosaurs and base building and what not that no other game has really filled. I think that's why they are still around. No one wants to make a new ARK game, because ARK has been around for so long. And the game is huge, it's just a janky ass mess.
If original Ark was over 800GB installed, and Ark Survival Evolved in over 500GB, does this mean Ark 2 might be under 300GB?
I'm constantly impressed by how absolutely shit Wildcard is at planning and executing games.
800GB really?
Yup. Original Ark has huge, super bloated maps made on Unreal 4, with many clipped terrain layers and hidden objects.
AFAIK, its actually closer to 450GB, and that is if the base game and all currently released DLCs are installed as well.
800GB is an exaggeration, but 400GB+ is still ridiculously bloated.
That studio is shady as fuck.
Didn't an ark sequel just come out?
That was the Unreal 5 remaster/cash grab from Wildcard.
Which they love doing almost like the companies only wild cards are cash grabs and milking.
Pretty sure that was their 'remaster'
