Not from Wisconsin, but what am I supposed to do if this happens to me? Is there a way to go about making it less likely to happen (other than not posting your SSN online obviously)?

Limit exposure to social media, google, and amazon. Use a VPN on all devices moving forward. Use a password manager and complex passwords, no repeats.

It's hard to erase ourselves. Try an limit your exposure moving forward. You will eventually be washed away by slop.
