I make an absurd amount of money as an engineer for a large evil corporation, and I've done the same. Fuck these companies. I drove 45 minutes to a small local lumber yard instead of going to the Home Depot or Lowes 5 minutes next to my house. I was a Pro member with a fuckton of rewards.
Preferably precious metals in a safe in a hidden underground bunker. I wish this was sarcasm. A bunch of my ilk won't see the other side of this. I hope you do.
