He hasn't read a book in his life.

Still doubt he actually read it, he probably had it read to him (either as an audio book or by some goon of his).

Definitely hoped there were pictures, put it down after finding none.

Nobody who has read that book is a fan. It’s boring, poorly written, and especially bitchy. Also, the most highly-compressed bigotry and classism this side of Ayn Rand.

But it’s fundamental to the beliefs of our political adversaries, so there’s value in really understanding the fucked up way they think.

And reading Mein Kamph really explains a lot of why Republicans are so extraordinarily shitty- and how they are definitely Nazis. I’ve never had to ask “why” these assholes did a thing… I was only ever surprised that it took them so long.

To address the title, perhaps regular communication is the real 5d chess move. Maybe if Mamdani calls him up to chat once a week...

This was the strategy a lot of foreign leaders used during his first term and it actually worked.

It was known that he was easily influenced by whoever he'd spoken to last.

What seems to have changed this time around is the people who have been able to play interference like JD Vance and Stephen Miller.

This was also a strategy that Reagan's cabinet used with him. Basically a group of men nobody really elected to office, who keep the president from doing things contrary to their agenda.

Dudes mind is simpler then the square hole

You're assuming that orange boy knows how to read.

The orange felon/rapist is reading the room. The MAGA craze is done. He is shifting his positions towards the popular consensus list. Trouble is that pedophilia ain't on the list.

I doubt he's lucid enough for that. he just likes whoever was nice and charismatic to him. also seems like Mamdani is the first person who was genuinely polite to him without obviously trying to grift him. no wonder he loved him.

he's still felon nonce. just a geriatric senile one.

Iran, Afghanistan - the USA used Islam to end Communism. How can both coexist as foundations for a country?
