Point of order, the future vote on the health care subsidies DOES have a guaranteed outcome. It will fail, because the republican want it to fail. The only way they are extended is if the democrats hold pat until people get pissed enough at the republics that they allow it to be part of the budget bill.

Starving poor people didn't work. Making air travel a bit more complex was all it took to make fewer than a dozen thin-skinned politicians (who aren't facing re-election in 2026 †) cave.
