I remember when Adbusters started Buy Nothing day. It's deeply ironic it's now become a product. We're living in the future they warned us about.

Literally nothing can happen anymore without it being immediately commodified and its profits optimized for maximum shareholder gains. You could start a "capitalism sucks and fuck you and your money" thing and within a month it would be making cash for some billionaire.
