So happy to see a clean sweep on EVERY major election across the country for dems and freedom. We cannot take the foot of the gas, the white house is currently working HARD to find ways to take away Mamdani's win and hurt New Yorkers because they voted against the king.
We need to maintain the pressure.

Just constant, relentless, crushing, completely ridiculously unwarranted fear. At all times. These people are little bitches.
My only concern is that hes not corrupt/corruptable enough to scratch the backs of and get scratched by the sleezy power brokers in the city (cops, sanitation...). I feel like a lot of people will work to make him fail at the expense of the city. Hoping he can stomp them all out though.
Here's the thing. Mamdani's a good man, the mayor has some levers like rent control, but he doesn't have the power to fix everything about the city completely alone. He will need every New Yorker who was moved by his campaign to help him accomplish his promises.
There are already a lot of good people in NYC to reach this point. He can do this.

Im Canadian and I heard that some people in NY were peddling the idea that mandatory halal food was going to be forced on all New Yorkers. I doubted the veracity of the story at first thinking I was reading the onion, but I know a bunch of people are stupid and racist enough to believe a racist lie like that
