New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani (D) said that voting for Andrew Cuomo is akin to voting for Trump.

“Donald Trump has hand-picked his candidate. That candidate’s name is Andrew Cuomo,” Mamdani told MSNBC’s Ari Melber in an interview that aired Monday. “And New Yorkers have the chance to hand pick their fighter. And I believe that candidate should be me.”

Heading into Tuesday’s general election, Mamdani is the frontrunner against Cuomo, running an independent campaign, and Republican Curtis Sliwa. An Emerson College Polling/PIX11/The Hill survey of New York City residents released last week found that 50 percent of respondents backed Mamdani, while 25 percent backed Cuomo, 21 percent backed Sliwa and 4 percent said they were undecided.

Funnily enough Trump also says that. It's definitive proof you should absolutely not vote for Cuomo.

Mamdani is not wrong.

trump's literally advising and helping Cuomo...

It says a lot that trump is pushing for neoliberals over openly racist republicans.

Trump also indicated to CBS News’ Norah O’Donnell on Friday that he would vote for Cuomo over Mamdani.

Wait, doesn't he live in Florida now? He left all in a huff after NYC was so mean to him and hurt his precious fee-fees.

Maybe someone in the NYC Board of Elections should take a look into whether he voted by mail in both places. Sure, if that happened and we found about it there will be no consequences, because there never are for him. But it will give one more double standard for the historians to write about in "The Decline And Fall Of America".

Voting would be definitely be in the "not an official act" category at least

Perfect response to the Trump endorsement, the rest is on him and his ground team for a hectic election day for that final push.
