Fight the illegal fentanyl smuggling coming from the Elcor empire as you work to make it a part of humanity's so you can guide them onto a better path and eliminate the grave threat they represent to the rest of the galaxy. The only game brave enough where choosing the Paragon path means an automatic courtmartial followed by the game uninstalling itself and deleting your system folders.
Huh? Jeez, I'd hate to see Shephard return. Their story ended, it'd ruin what emotional weight the end of 3 had if it turned out they just survived somehow
There was an ending where Shep survived, so it's possible.
There was also the whole "we literally revived a dead human" in ME2
Oh no, they are making an Amazon series out of too. They're going to Hollywood the shit out of it to make it palatable to the masses.

Even if they had, there's still the entire "we'll just take this existing script and change some names" industry standard of hollywood
