But we have given so much money to police that I don't understand this. They have so many vehicles and spy tech. How has this stuff risen on contrast to the budget they've been given year after year

Gasps it’s not enough they need more tyranny like with opening your letters without a warrant, getting rid of fair trials, obtaining evidence illegally, sharing information with ice, rcmp vehicles following you to your house, demands of ratting out one’s neighbours and back doors on encryption.

Bills C-2, C-12, C-8, and C-9.

As global hope for the future of the planet quickly erodes then why the hell shouldn't folks anesthetize themselves? Let's not kid ourselves...this is a sanctioned business by governments and corporations, not some "black market" shit. Maybe hiring more police will help? Has that been tried? /s

I'll acknowledge that this is probably a conspiracy I come back to and it goes along these lines:

Crypto has mostly replaced drugs as the primary core for money laundering.

In my opinion, bitcoin didn't really hit the scene until around 2012 when miners were moving from their home built GPU rigs to specialized ASICs.
