Adam Sandler. He made a cameo at the 2025 Oscars that Conan O'Brien was hosting. The two of them go way back and you could tell both were trying to not break out laughing during the exchange.
Made a cameo at the Oscars? The man has made half a billion, maybe more in the industry and his appearance at the Oscars is considered a cameo?
Well yeah. Once you're famous enough that's what a short appearance in a show is called.
Had a economics professor who wore cargo shorts and a hoodie to lecture halls. He rode a foldable bike and I'm pretty sure he skateboarded on weekends.
He was getting an achievement award for something and he goes in a full blown suit and tie. I asked him why he didn't go in his usual clothes, and he said, "I need a couple more awards and sit at the top before I can do that."
That's my goal.
Well, economists are charlatans so fair enough
Are there half professors? Or is he drunk?
