Flippanarchy
Flippant Anarchism. A lighter take on social criticism with the aim of agitation.
Post humorous takes on capitalism and the states which prop it up. Memes, shitposting, screenshots of humorous good takes, discussions making fun of some reactionary online, it all works.
This community is anarchist-flavored. Reactionary takes won't be tolerated.
Don't take yourselves too seriously. Serious posts go to !anarchism@lemmy.dbzer0.com

Absolutely no right-wing jokes. This includes "Anarcho"-Capitalist concepts.

Absolutely no redfash jokes. This includes anything that props up the capitalist ruling classes pretending to be communists.

No bigotry whatsoever. See instance rules.

This is an anarchist comm. You don't have to be an anarchist to post, but you should at least understand what anarchism actually is. We're not here to educate you.

No shaming people for being anti-electoralism. This should be obvious from the above point but apparently we need to make it obvious to the turbolibs who can't control themselves. You have the rest of lemmy to moralize.
Join the matrix room for some real-time discussion.
You should post this to an audience who needs to hear this, not on Lemmy where everyone is already aware. And the King of the Hill meme is a more apt format imo so FTFY:
Good ol' profitable Lemmy.
Don't be so sure it isn't. There are larger instances that care what goes on the front page and can control it.
Aha! So that's what we need for fediverse to grow!
As you have already hinted: commercial interests motivate the design of such algorithms. That means: capitalism is at fault. Again.
You haven't the slightest idea what is the meaning of the word "algorithm"?
Words have different meanings depending on the context, in this case it's specifically referring to the algorithms used by big social media platforms to determine which content to recommend and populate a user's feed with and in what order.
Exactly why we should all move off of commercial social media.
Surprisingly, according to Lyotard, its might be the other way round: connections fuel hatred. Independently, they are also profitable. Thus, again, scaling is inherently evil.
Maybe stop using social media?
Maybe stop using capitalist social media?
...(s)he says on a social media app...
they works better
