I can’t understand why we get Mark Antony instead of Marcus Antonius or something.

Were historians like “Nah fuck this guy, Ima give him a grimy anglicized name lol”

Blame Shakespeare! He used the Anglicization "Mark Antony" in his plays, including in his play "Julius Caesar", and now it's an entrenched part of the English language.
