Oooh that's a lovely vision of hell for Greg Abbott. Him stuck in his wheelchair while every one of his victims gives him a hard slap in the face for all eternity.
I think we should probably bring up the guy he pardoned for murder, lying that the victim pointed a gun at him, much more.
I'm pretty sure he actually can stand up though, on the night of November 15, 2024 it appears that he did even if only for a few seconds.
Also it's just factually wrong, she's been extremely outspoken on behalf of veterans, consistently. Like that's the main plank of her poltical career. The tweet is just more right wing gruel.

For the party of veterans, they sure hate them.
They love veterans as the idea of heroic crusaders in shining armor. They love the veterans who can maintain that image and will gladly believe lies to maintain the heroism. But war is hell, and veterans who come back in a way where they won't let you pretend otherwise are hated for that. Whether that's because of disabilities, trauma, left wing radicalism, or even just befriending the locals and learning to love the culture
Yes, I see your point. They like them for their political usefulness, but not as human beings.
I think that actually paints it too simple. They love the idea of veterans. Many of them are veterans even. But the US military is a massive logistical organization. A lot of people who joined the military wound up in desk jobs far away from combat, and many of those people have some insecurities over that. Or they were ineligible to serve. Or they hung out at or around a military base somewhere far away and never saw action. Or maybe they saw plenty in Abu Ghraib or guantanimo or through a sniper's scope and were part of why the American military is seen as evil by their nature or their training. Or maybe they had a relative serve.
For the American right wing they love veterans, but they love the narrative more, and part of why they love the narrative so much is because they see it as tied to their love of veterans.
They know what they said.
That's rich given she is a veteran.
Every group has the capacity for self hatred. Plenty of veterans love Trump, for instance.
Perhaps it wasn't your intention, but you gave credence to that argument. Which bills show that she didn't support veterans?
I didn't say anything about her. It's just that being a veteran doesn't inherently mean support for other veterans.
That's why I said it probably was not intentional. Their claim did not list any specific bills, but saying veterans might hate their own still unintentionally gives credence to the original argument while not providing any evidence.
That's my issue, as far as I know there's no evidence for that claim. The latest thing she did was actually trying to reinstate veterans that were fired by DOGE, which was blocked by Republicans.
I can see that if people extrapolated meaning from my response that wasn't there. I admit that I probably could have used a better example of it, like Hispanics being Trump supporters.
But, the TLC's implication was that the accusations were false just because she's a veteran, and I was pointing out that the fact that being a member of a group isn't evidence that you're not against that group.
Pointing out inconsistencies in someone's refutation doesn't legitimize the argument they're refuting. It's just a call for them to form a stronger rebuttal.
Republicans have a record of not standing up for Epstein victims. Go ahead Congress prove me wrong.
