Well sure - but when compared to the Dems' "the economy is doing great - regardless of how you feel' message, I get it. Voting isn't about rational actors it's about emotion

Because conservatives base all their economic beliefs around "Trickle Down" economics. They are still holding on to that concept. Or at least that's what they tell the public.
