I have no doubt she received threats. Moving to Russia feels a little weird, but I don't blame her one bit for getting out of the US.

The people who'd been #MeToo and "Believe Women" one day turned into rabid wolverines defending Biden, and Biden being creepy many, many times in public and on camera made it hard not to believe that he'd actually done what Reade accused him of doing.
