The way he got treated by the Eurovision music Competition was disgraceful. What a shame!

The last Eurovision was a total disaster, it was both awful and riveting

He was accused of abusing a camera woman, who he had previously asked not to film when he comes off the stage. She did it anyway, he said something about it, she accused him, he was disqualified. He was not allowed to leave the country for a while. In the police investigation no proof surfaced. Case dismissed or it did not even come to a case. All in all it took months.

At the same time he was one of the favourites to win the competition and disqualifying him was very controversial. Particularly because Sweden won that year and it very conveniently coincided with Sweden then hosting the next Eurovision, the same year that ABBA could celebrated 50 years since they won the Eurovision with "Waterloo"

You're mixing up things, Europapa was last year when Switzerland won. The year before that Cha Cha Cha was the audience's favourite but Sweden won.
