Wow this is super compelling, pairing one of these with a raspberry pi could actually be so sick

I'm very curious about the actual latency.

The refresh rate certainly impacts latency, but there are other factors that can effect Time To First Update, even if it can play quickly after that.

Exciting though, even a relatively low res e ink screen that's fully viewable in daylight would make an amazing portable monitor.

A little annoyed they're listing other specs but just vaguely say "lower latency."

I'll try to dig that up.

It's certainly not the first e-paper display that's fast enough for computer use. Dasung has had 60Hz greyscale and 30Hz color monitors available for a while now.

That's interesting, I will check it out. I love e-ink displays, and being able to use my pc without eye strain would be awesome
