This might be a good thing, i mean it will suck for sure but this might be the incentive that even those not tech savvy need to start looking at alternatives (graphene os, linux phones) and free themselves from their digital prison.

There is a limit window of opportunity for privacy crowd to hit critical mass.

Gos is 250k apparently, other ROMs prolly another 200k...

We need to be into dozens of million, but really into hundreds of million for us to have any sway on the market.

I doubt it will happen tbh.

Might as well plan for the worst while shilling privacy where possible.

I've been eyeing the Fairphone 6, which has a de-Googled OS option and looks interesting. It's supposed to be more environmentally and ethically responsible, somewhat modular, and with 2-day battery life. The user reviews on their site complain of some software bugs but also say they're releasing updates to address them.
