This is such a stupid question to ask before a drug has been around for less than a generation. As a society we eat a diet that has changed far more rapidly than evolution can keep up with and we are fatter than we should be for good health. Maybe something like these agonists can offset some of these issues a bit, but before we have a long term understanding of such drugs of course we shouldn't go all in.

No. I just want them to be easily accessible.
I mean, I am no medical professional, but do studies also show which negative conditions do diabetes medications influence? Because there is no way they come without some bad effects.
Every single medication has side effects, good and bad. Every medication comes with a product label that goes into the specifics how how the medication works, how it was trialed, how to use it, what to expect, etc. (You can always ask a pharmacist for this if it's not already provided).
The question isn't "do these meds have bad effects", the question is "do the pros of this therapy outweigh the potential side effects?"
NSAIDs like ibuprofen and naproxen are used for pain relief, but they're hard on our bodies and can destroy your liver with chronic use. Yet we can freely buy them as OTC meds.
