Maybe if people making $200k behaved as if they had class solidarity with those making $20k, then maybe both would understand that the former is working class.

But they don't.

It's true. The people at my workplace who make over 100k act with thinly veiled condescension and discrimination toward people who make less. I had a friend who got promoted and I saw the cultural conditioning happen in real time. We don't hang out anymore.
